This 8 watt nickel-cadmium (NiCd) battery backup system is designed for use with the Edge Round 8' flush mount (sold separately). It provides 90 minutes of power to the Edge Round 8' flush mount to allow lighting for emergency egress or continuation of key operations during a loss of power.
